This prototype robot named Halluc II. It is a robotic vehicle under development at the Chiba Institute of Technology.

This robot has eight wheels and legs and is able to drive or walk over rugged terrain. The researchers hope to put the robot into practical use within the next five years.

Designed, built and programmed by Ryo Watanabe Waseda University Japan using the HiTechnic NXT Gyro Sensor

This robot is using 2 wheel driving. Nice balancing.
